Putin: Hamas Has Never Been a Terrorist Organization

From the mouth of Vladimir Putin: "Our position on Hamas is different from that of the United States and Western Europe, the Russian Foreign Ministry has never regarded Hamas as a terrorist organization. But this does not mean that we totally approve and support everything that Hamas has done." He further went on to declare that the nations that fund the Palestinian Authority should not cut off aid despite Hamas' control of the Palestinian governing body. He stated that Russia would not support any efforts to cut off financial assistance to the Palestinians. Tovya says: If Vladimir Putin is so concerned with "Palestinian" aid, he should have his own nation provide the money. Otherwise, he should keep out of the process because neither he nor his country, have done anything to promote the well being of anyone. They can't even provide the basic needs of their own citizenry and therefore have no business in regulating the monetary responsibilities of other nations. If you want to play hardball, step up to the plate and put your money where your mouth is. Otherwise, butt out Mr. Putin. Secondly, prior to its collapse, the Soviet Union had a long history of supporting terrorism. While the overall blame for the current quagmire falls on the shoulder of Israel's leadership, Russia fueled the terror campaign against Jews by supporting "Palestinian" terrorists for decades. They no doubt aided in backing us into a corner. So when he says he does not consider Hamas a terrorist organization, I certainly am not shocked by his position. Lastly, how can a nation, whose borders were defined by expansionism, possibly have any insight on how to peacefully coexist with its neighbors? To this very day they continue to fight the Chechen rebels and refuse to appease the terrorists by surrendering. Don't get me wrong, I agree with their resolve in fighting terror. But with that being said, the foul stench of hypocrisy that permeates from Putin's mouth is difficult to bear. He, along with the rest of the world's leaders, think that there is a rule of survival for them, but one of appeasement for a Jew.

Did you know Mr. Putin VOLUNTEERED for the KGB at the ripe age of 23? This guy and his accursed country are, in my opinion, one, if not the biggest dangers to democratic society.

I've long despised Putin for his foreign policy and for the tactics he's used in Russia's occupation(this is a REAL occupation) of Chechnya.

The bastard's gotta go!!!

I'm still not sure exactly how to chat through gmail, Eitan.

The only thing that makes anyone even look in Russia's direction is the same thing that makes Europe kiss up to the Arabs - its vast amounts of oil and gas. Until we find a way of overcoming the natural resource problem, I think there'll be no way of shutting up these hypocrites.

I know, and like in my previous comment to Eitan, what a waste of vast resources. Russia is a joke on the world scene (but unfortunately they are a nuclear joke too).

You don't see many websites promoting "American Brides" for Russian men. Not many American women want out of America so desperately that they're willing to marry 60-year-old Russian men.
That should be the benchmark, I think. Until Russia has eliminated all need for "Russian Bride" websites, Putin should keep his bulbous nose out of international affairs.

Russia keeps being mentioned is a positive light in the same breath as the EU, US, UN and the like, I was finding that odd. A statement like this sound more like Russia.

Stevin: very keen observation!

Ifyouwillit: you're absolutely right. Russia is and has been since the Mongolian Occupation a retarded empire, still employing serf labor well into the 19th century. Things aren't looking any different and to be honest, as I've stated in one of my own posts, I don't feel sorry for the Russian people one bit, myself having been born there.

Yeah I actually found a blog out there that keeps a record of all of Putin's stupid comments. I'll put the link up later today.

I don't know how many more Chechnyian exection/beheading tapes the Russians need to see before they realize the common bond of all islamic terrorists. Wounded Russian soliders had their throats slit to the chant of allah akbar in Afghanistan and it is happening in Chechnya too. Wake up and smell the blood, or never wake up at all. Maybe a few thousand more school children need to be butchered before Putin can make the connection. Maybe through islamic terror networks Chechnya terrorists can detonate a dirty nuke in Moscow, sending Putin the message that his Godless mentality is not pleasing to allah.

Right.... And Russia was never an oppressive communist regime.

Putin's a dangerous man, right up there with Ahmadinejad. And no friend, I suspect, to Israel.

putin is an idiot if he believes that hamas isn't terrorist. they are worse than the chechen rebels he's been fighting against for the past ten years.
you have a really nice blog tovya. i'm glad to see pro israel blogs out there.

i'm not crazy. and i am in total agreement with Putin. the Palestinians are getting crapped on on a daily basis and are not allowed an army to defend themselves from ANYTHING. Hamas HAS partaken in terrorists means because that is the only one at their disposal. let them have an army (MUCH LESS NUKES, MR. HYPOCRITE)and you have a "fair" fight, i.e. no more "terrorism." well, "fair-er" (Israel would still have the far superior military might, but at least the fighting would be up to yall high standards - for killing)

since you brought up "hypocrisy" and "long history of terror":
was Begin a terrorist? (King David Hotel...) Was Sharon? (Sabra &...) I know, that's old stuff, water under the bridge....

i'm still wondering how you can comment (given your position supporting Israel) on "how a nation, whose borders were defined by EXPANSIONISM, can possibly have any insight on how to peacefully coexist with its neighbors?" What does Israel know about peacefully coexisting with neighbors? They have barely known a day of peace since they inserted themselves where they are now!!! AND THEY DO THE OPPSOITE OF APPEASING!!!

there is a "foul stench of hypocrisy that permeates" from this blog... it's not you, though, it's Israel (the 43 percent that don't want to talk to a Hamas government, not the 48 percent that do - according to a recent Israeli newspaper poll)

thanks for visiting my blog... i anxiously await your reply regarding my being wrong on ALL of "my" reports!!!

Well, your first statement sure says a lot about you.

As for your other points, since when was war supposed to be fair? Is your suggestion that every time before a war breaks out everyone should sit down and split up the weapons evenly? That's absurd.

Yes, we have nukes, and if we wanted to use them, we would have already done so (especially in '73 during the 'Yom Kippur War').

The very fact that we have nukes keeps the miserable Arab dictatorships out of our country. It's called a deterence, ever heard of it?

No, Menachem Begin nor Ariel Sharon could be put on the level of Hamas. Arab terrorist groups purposely target CIVILIANS, both of the Israelis you mentioned targeted militants, terrorists, and soldiers. Don't be foolish and equate a 'Palestinian' suicide bomber blowing up a bus load of Children with Begin targeting BRITISH SOLDIERS.

And yes, you are right. We haven't known a SINGLE DAY OF PEACE. Do you want to know why? Because the Arabs started attacking us on day one of our nations creation and have never stopped. I get so sick of the blame the victim mentality of Arab huggers.

Lastly, why the heck would we want to negotiate with a group of individuals whose fun-filled activities include:

Blowing up school buses
Assasinating Infants with a sniper rifle
Suicide bombs in shopping districts
Raining rockets on anonymous homes
etc,etc,etc

That's all I have to say for the moment, and by the way, next time bring some breath mints, it helps with the stench.

Hehehe...with the love of Israel, Eitan.

p.s. That stench u left is horrible. I'll probably have to nuke you, wherever you are to put it out.

Regreg 23: Don't assume Bishop belongs to a church. Unlike the Jewish people, Christians are not born to their faith. Many claim to be Christian, but G-d knows who is and who is not His. For the record, I find Bishop's remarks abhorrent as well; he gives me and REAL Christians a bad name.

I know some Jews don't care much for Christians either, but I can't concern myself with that. I am commanded to respect and pray for G-d's chosen people, and for the peace of Jerusalem. Bishop obviously feels no G-dly compulsion to do the same.

He may very well end up in hell... I should be praying for him too.

Well I have defended christians and verbally attacked them as well. I never put any group of people in one basket. For example, I like you, John Hagee, and good Zionists of your calibre.

The only kind I have a beef with are racist anti-semite christians and missionaries (those who attempt to convert jews to christianity).

I respect every non-jews right to believe as they wish, and as long as they don't try to missionize me or use the dialog of an anti-semite, a harsh word shall never come between me and that person.

I am proud to have a large number of christian friends... they respect me, and I them.

be blessed.

sorry to offend any of you zioni, but tovya invited me...(i'm still waiting for you to back up what you said on my blog...i ain't holding my breath, speaking of...)

i keep my breath like that for interacting with people as ugly as you, player - you can't mess with me, small fry:

as for deterence, i think I've heard of that. it's why i want Iran to have nukes. to keep yall crazies in check... last time i checked, THEY haven't invaded anyone. not so with yall crazies, eh?

as for Begin, what about ALL THE grenades they rolled through crowded bazzars filled with CIVILIANS? Surely they mentioned that in yall zioni textbooks? (if not i could help you out with the knowledge) also, i noticed you didn't (couldn't?) counter the Sharon (God be with him)/terrorist thing(s) because, well, we all know about those... even the government of Israel reprimanded him!!! ha ha - yall elect terrorists - President!!! H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E!!!

about not having a single day of peace, you are right except you left out the part about creating your nation ON OTHER PEOPLE'S LAND (or land that was inhabited by others, however you want the semantics to go)- THAT'S why you ain't got no peace. you ever look at a map of the Middle East and ask yourself honestly who doesn't belong? the answer is obvious. it sure would stabilize the region...if we could move Israel to Alaska or something...

does anyone remember when yall state was being considered and the Jews would have accepted many places as their homeland? Now they act like it's ALL theirs and has been since the beginning of time. Now they act like ALL of Jeruselem has been theirs forever. They used to be happy with Tel Aviv!!! It's the fundamental problem with the Israel state. (EXPANSIONISM, and the Zionist part of the population which is really not much different than Hamas and the rest in their ideology)

about blame the victim: i got new for you, bra, you ain't no victim, although Israel has made playing that role an artform...answer me this: why do the Palestinians have to pay for what happened to the Jews? (NO REALLY - ANSWER THAT!) They (the Palestinians are the ones losing "stuff"...yall are gaining, gaining, gaining...how is that victim? victims are usually down to negotiate. the opposite of vicitms don't have to. you ain't no victim.

and finally, why would you want to negotiate with... because you will never ever have peace until you do. but, hey, i know Israel don't want to negotiate because yall don't want peace... because then they'd have to give back what they've stolen!!!

(they gonna have to give it back anyway...i'm the bishop - you ain't heard?)
