Putin: Hamas Has Never Been a Terrorist Organization

From the mouth of Vladimir Putin: "Our position on Hamas is different from that of the United States and Western Europe, the Russian Foreign Ministry has never regarded Hamas as a terrorist organization. But this does not mean that we totally approve and support everything that Hamas has done." He further went on to declare that the nations that fund the Palestinian Authority should not cut off aid despite Hamas' control of the Palestinian governing body. He stated that Russia would not support any efforts to cut off financial assistance to the Palestinians. Tovya says: If Vladimir Putin is so concerned with "Palestinian" aid, he should have his own nation provide the money. Otherwise, he should keep out of the process because neither he nor his country, have done anything to promote the well being of anyone. They can't even provide the basic needs of their own citizenry and therefore have no business in regulating the monetary responsibilities of other nations. If you want to play hardball, step up to the plate and put your money where your mouth is. Otherwise, butt out Mr. Putin. Secondly, prior to its collapse, the Soviet Union had a long history of supporting terrorism. While the overall blame for the current quagmire falls on the shoulder of Israel's leadership, Russia fueled the terror campaign against Jews by supporting "Palestinian" terrorists for decades. They no doubt aided in backing us into a corner. So when he says he does not consider Hamas a terrorist organization, I certainly am not shocked by his position. Lastly, how can a nation, whose borders were defined by expansionism, possibly have any insight on how to peacefully coexist with its neighbors? To this very day they continue to fight the Chechen rebels and refuse to appease the terrorists by surrendering. Don't get me wrong, I agree with their resolve in fighting terror. But with that being said, the foul stench of hypocrisy that permeates from Putin's mouth is difficult to bear. He, along with the rest of the world's leaders, think that there is a rule of survival for them, but one of appeasement for a Jew.

Live or Die? Choose Wisely.

Does anyone else see the absurdity in what we demand that Hamas do? Why are we demanding that Hamas "disarm" prior to any recognition of their government, all the while Fatah has always maintained their "military wing" even while holding the primary power base? We know that Hamas will never do it, so why even ask? And don't tell me it is about principal, because we allowed Fatah to maintain an open military wing and a terror group that worked hand-in-hand with very little protest. What makes Hamas so different? When the election smoke clears, Hamas and Fatah, while bitter rivals, are no different. Fatah is NOT a "moderate" regime. I hardly call a group that openly calls for the murdering of Jews moderate. More importantly though, at the end of the day, we'll let Hamas keep their weapons, they will remain in power, and we will still tuck our tails and run from Judea and Samaria. They know this and we know this. So why do we demand things that we have no intention of sticking to? And because we will no doubt back down as usual, Hamas' spectacular election sweep is only a small token of what will come. The next election will be far greater for them. They will thumb their noses at our disarmament demands, and they will continue on the path to forced concessions via terror. We are in a dire situation only because we have lost the will to survive. We are so infatuated with the concept of global acceptance that we have thrown all principal and Jewish pride out the door to be replaced with nothing. The world still calls us an "apartheid regime", and the world still overwhelming supports the Palestinians. Why? Because they don't like us, and they never have. Our history shows this, yet we pretend as though the last 2000 years of persecution never happened. We continue down the path to national suicide, and we have nothing to show for it except grieving Jewish mothers and the continued role as the scapegoat for the world's problems. What shall be the threshold of our complacence? Will it be when we return to the pre-1967 borders? Will it come after continued suicide bombings and acts of terror? Must Tel-Aviv come under siege before we finally locate the will to survive? I fear the day when the flag of Islamofacism flies over Haifa may not be that far away. Nothing in our current weak Jewish leadership could possibly allow me to draw any other conclusion. Live or die, that is our only choice.

Eldad Echos Tovya (and vice versa)

MK Aryeh Eldad said: "Disengagement weakened the Palestinian moderates. Fatah lost and the Hamas won because their way forced the Israelis out. The majority of the Palestinians support the Hamas because they believe that the Israelis will eventually be pushed out of all of their territories." "Sharon put the Hamas in power, unilateral disengagement gave the Hamas their power and tripled their force. Hamas said that there is no place for negotiating with the Israelis, they will only understand terror and eventually they will run away. This summer we ran away from Gush Katif and Northern Samaria. We didn’t negotiate; we gave away land for free and handed it on a silver platter to the Hamas." Tovya says: That's why I like Eldad, he is always saying the same things that I am saying. With that being said, MK Eldad is in the National Union party. Our good blogger friend Ze'ev over at Israel Perspectives apparently will be on the National Union ticket for the upcoming election as well. A person with such a great love of our people is well deserving of the opportunity. Remember: A vote for Kadima is a vote for national suicide. Yet a vote for the National Union is a vote for keeping Jewish lands Jewish and retaining our Zionist dream. Consider that when you hit the booth here in a few months.

The Expulsion that Brought Hamas to Power

The AP reports: Israeli Avi Zana listened with horror on Thursday to news that the Hamas militant group that killed his son had won Palestinian elections. "The Palestinians have shown their true face by electing Hamas," said Zana, 46. "The group does not want control of the Palestinian Authority, it wants control of all Israel." On the streets of the Jewish state, there was grave concern at the victory of the Hamas movement that carried out nearly 60 suicide bombings during a Palestinian uprising and is formally dedicated to destroying Israel. "It is hard not to be even more pessimistic now about peacemaking prospects here," said Shimi Breutman, 22, a travel guide. "We could see this whole place engulfed in even further chaos. Israel has to tread very carefully." Israel, joined by the United States, refuses to negotiate with Hamas until it disarms and changes its charter. Tovya says: Are you surprised that so many "Palestinians" voted for Hamas? Think about it. When we expelled thousands of Jews from Gush Katif without demanding a thing in return, the Arabs knew that we did so out of war fatigue. They knew that we were weak, and Hamas reiterated that message to the voters. We sent the "Palestinians" a clear message: Hamas terrorism caused Israel to run. Elect Hamas and you will see more of the same. It means nothing that the American government does not recognize Hamas, nor does it mean anything that Israel will refuse to negotiate with them prior to their acceptance of a Jewish state. Both the U.S. and Israel only recognized Hamas as a terrorist group prior to the elections, so why do you think they are concerned now? They are funded by Iran and Syria, not the European Union or the United States. More importantly, the Gush Katif expulsion was done so outside of the realm of negotiations; so really, we gave Hamas the victory ourselves. We did not negotiate with the "Palestinian" government; we tucked our tail and ran from Gaza. Please do not think that this is the end of the expulsions either. We didn't negotiate Gush Katif away in September of last year. We gave it away without expecting anything in return. Therefore, the fact that Israel refuses to negotiate with Hamas is hot air. The only thing that it means is that when we assasinate a Hamas terrorist leader, now we are officially killing a member of the "Palestinian" parliament. I can already hear the deafening world cries against Israel. I can already hear the moans that the Jewish state is trying to "crush Palestinian democracy". I smell danger in all of this, and I don't like it. Hamas was given a warrant to murder Jews under the protection of diplomatic status, and yet we will no doubt continue down the road map to suicide. Yesha will soon be surrounded by the IDF, and more Jews will be homeless. Don't let your guard down by thinking that the "road map" is over. It is just the beginning. No matter who is in power over the "Palestinians", the results will be the same; more terrorism, and more appeasement by our gutless Jewish leadership.

Palestinian Democracy: The Freedom to Murder

...the wife of jailed Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti accused Israel of hindering Palestinian democracy. "My husband being in an Israeli cell does not help the Palestinian democratic cause," said Fadwa Barghouti.
Of course not, Mrs. Barghouti, your idea of democracy is the freedom to kill Jews at will. If we are all lucky, your miserable and murdererous husband will rot away in prison, and that's good for freedom everywhere.

Memories Long Gone

"What is crooked will not be able to be straightened, and what is missing will not be able to be counted" -Shlomo HaMelech
Nothing to me is sadder than a Jew who begs for the love of the non-Jewish nations. He is like a grabbling fool who is desperate to change who he is, yet in the end he fades from existence. It is as though he never was. Think about it. Where are the secular Jews from times gone? Where are those Jews who gave in and converted to Christianity or Islam? Where are those Jews who loved the thought of acceptance more than they loved the concept of being Jewish? Where are those Jews who hated the thought of being a nation apart? Tell me, where are these Jews who did everything that they could to be loved by the non-Jews? Show me their seed! In truth, they have departed, and their descendants are no longer Jewish. They are a like a faded memory. You do not miss a faded memory, because you do not know that you ever had it. A Jew who pursues the acceptance from the non-Jew, outside of the adherence of Torah, is like a dog chasing its tail. It’s an endeavor that amounts to nothing and in the end results only in exhaustion. The only way to be like the goyim is to cease being Jewish altogether. An apple tree does not grow coconuts, nor will acceptance for a Jew be found by abandoning that which makes him different… the covenant.

The Price of Jewish Blood? Cheap.

In response to today's Tel-Aviv suicide terror attack: The U.S. government is trying to ensure that the terror attack will not harm the PA elections. White House Spokesman Scott McClellan said, following the attack: "We condemn this atrocious attack in the strongest possible terms." "It has wounded tens of innocent civilians. We call upon the Palestinian Authority again to do everything it can to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure," said the White House spokesman, adding that the disarming of terror groups was an important factor for furthering the peace process. Tovya says: That is such bull. We hear the same non-sense everytime Jews are killed or hurt. Condemn, condemn, condemn... and then a swift kick in the backend from the U.S. administration to get back "on the road map to peace". McClellan using the words, "everything it can to dismantle [terror]" is a code word for "terrorism will no doubt continue". The Bush administration thinks that Jewish blood is cheap. A few dead Jews here and there, and Bush rolls over and goes back to sleep. Just today after the latest Osama Bin-Laden tape was released (in which Bin-Laden calls for a possible truce, HA) that same White House declared that there will be no negotiations with terrorists. I agree with them, don't get me wrong, I am just fed up with their hypocracy. If you think that Bush loves Israel (like so many of you blindly believe), tell me why? He screws us at every turn, and knowingly presses us down the path to national suicide. This is the best we can do for friendship? America does not negotiate under the fire of terrorism. But as for us, Bush wants us to follow a different rulebook called the 'roadmap to peace'. If you are so eager to help Bush dig this road, be my guest. But make sure you dig the road six-feet deep, because that's the only direction that this road is heading.

Zion Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Loser

See the family resemblance?

The AP reports: Israel would be ready to open negotiations with the Palestinians on a permanent peace accord after the country's elections on March 28, former Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres said Wednesday. Peres said after meeting with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that the aim would be ending the conflict between the two sides and establishing permanent borders. Implying that Israel was prepared to yield more territory, Peres told reporters, "We don't think of Gaza last but Gaza first." Israel's withdrawal from Gaza was undertaken by Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Critics said Sharon's aim was to solidify Israel's control of much of the West Bank afterward. He said reports that Sharon intended to hold on to most of the West Bank as well as all of Jerusalem were wrong. "My impression is he was ready to go a long way," Peres said. Tovya says: Sharon is out of the way, and now Peres is ready to jump at the chance to screw us again. Isn't it amazing how he can speak for Sharon now that Sharon can no longer speak for himself? Get ready to defend Yesha and Yerushalayim, Peres and Ehud Olmert are coming, and they want all Jews out of Jewish lands. Will we wait until the last moment to rally the keepers of the Covenant, or will we wise up this time around and make the neccesary preperations now? The clock is ticking and the next expulsion is rapidly approaching.

More Zionist Conspiracies for the Masses

Scotland's Daily Record reports:

CLERIC Abu Hamza claimed Britain and America were controlled by Israel, a court heard yesterday.

In a hate-filled sermon, he said Western leaders grovelled to Israel because they feared being exposed as corrupt or homosexual.

Hamza, 47, said former Foreign Secretary Robin Cook and ex-US president Bill Clinton had gone down on their hands and knees to curry favour with the Israelis.

"Why they act like sugar daddy for Israel? Because they love Israel? No way. Because they hate them very much but the Israelis know how to deal with them.

"They got a file for each politician, how much homosexual you are, how many money he has been taking as a bribe, whom his wife goes with, which child he has been abusing - Jews know how to control people."

The jury were shown tapes of Hamza at various meetings in which he urged followers to sacrifice themselves - and their children - in the cause of an Islamic Jihad, a holy war.

In one, he said: "If you can send your children, send them."

Hamza, of West London, denies 15 charges including soliciting to murder Jews and non-Muslims.

Tovya says:

Is this even worth commenting on? Unfortunately it is, because I know that somewhere in the world, someone is reading this article and saying, "see Martha, I told you they controlled everything! And this good Muslim man is revealing the trurth to everyone!" This vile terrorist gets caught on tape soliciting suicide bombers, and yet still he denies the charges. Oh yeah, it must have been a Mossad doctored tape, right Hamza? I'm sure your "sermon" was calling for Jews, Muslims, and Christians to hold hands and sing kumbaya. Maybe a little interfaith barbeque now, and a 'time for healing' roundtable discussion later? Wow, I'm glad we cleared that up. Now if we could just get some of our North Sea oil pumped back home to Eretz Yisrael, I'd feel much better.

You Might Be an Intifada Criminal If...

The AFP reports: HEBRON, West Bank (AFP) - Israel drafted hundreds of police reinforcements to the West Bank town of Hebron in a bid to quell what the press dubbed the Jewish Intifada, sparked by plans to evacuate settlers. The army slapped a ban on non-resident Israelis of Hebron from entering the town centre until January 22 in a bid to quell demonstrations. "Hundreds of Israeli citizens have taken part in violent demonstrations in the quarter of the Jewish community of Hebron against security forces as well as the Palestinian residents and their property," he said. Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has vowed zero tolerance towards Jewish families resisting eviction from a market in the flashpoint town, following two days of clashes between militant Jewish settlers and security forces. Tovya says: And why is this called the "Jewish Intifada" again? Let's go through the intifada litmus test to find out: You Might Be an Intifada Criminal If... (A) You intend to strap a bomb to yourself... (nope, definitely not guilty of this, Jews don't get 72 virgins in paradise) (B) You throw rocks at Israeli soldiers or any other civilian... (hmm, mostly sticking to fruit and vegetable launching) (C) You capture foreigners and behead them (nope, no loose heads rolling around the market either) (D) You put snipers at pre-determined points to assasinate helpless civilians (sorry, left our guns at home) (E) You hijack bus loads of children and then kill them in a fiery explosion (whew, not this either) (F) The media has always wanted to say "Jewish Intifada" and now is as good a time as any. (Ding, Ding, Ding, we have a winner!) Yeah! 1 for 6, that's close enough. Let's call it an intifada. And as an added bonus, our fine Jewish leadership gets the opportunity to expel religious Jews from yet another plot of land that was promised to us by G-d. But didn't Hashem warn us about ignoring our sacred covenant? Of course not, Kadima is building a tower to the heavens, and they will show everyone who is really in charge.

The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy

A post that I wrote one month ago concerning treacherous Arab MKs seems to be causing quiet a fuss. I thought it was old news, but apparently a few bloggers don't agree. As a matter of fact, they went as far as to tag me a racist. Imagine that. According to JC General, believing that Arabs should honor their oath of loyalty to Israel is a crime that makes me a hater of "brown people". Expecting leaders of a Jewish nation to not actively support the enemy... how could I suggest such a radical concept? What I find amuzing is that he has the chutzpah to accuse me of being a bigot. And all this from the same JC General who's main beef with the Jewish and Israeli Blog Awards was the fact that a number of non-Jews were nominated? I think he should question his own distaste for non-Jewish supporters of Zion before he throws mud at me. Is that not a reasonable request? Another such critic of mine is Richard Silverstein of the Tikun Olam blog. He also apparently agrees with JC General's "racist" JIBs point-of-view. When I read his blog post I kept picturing a little 3-legged poodle barking at his shadow... you want to shut the dog up, but you almost feel sorry it. In all seriousness though, Silverstein and JC General have no valid points concerning anything I wrote. It's a simple bitter rant. Their accusations against me and a few other bloggers are a result of them not being nominated for the JIBs. Of course it's not because their views lack substance, its because a vast right wing consipracy is out to get them. I mean who wants to admit failure when blaming a vast international Zionist conspiracy is so much more fun? According to Silverstein, the Right lacks literary talent. To be more specific, he pointed out Aussie Dave, Soccer Dad, My Right Word, Little Green Footballs, and myself as the talentless bunch. His exact words were, and I quote, "By the way, did I also say that these chenyuk’s (a disparaging Israeli colloquial term) can’t write?" So let me get this straight, not only are we all Arab haters, but we also don't know how to write? So why were we nominated for the JIBs again? Oh, I forgot. It's that silly 'ole vast right wing conspiracy of course. Sorry fellow members of ZOG, I guess they have discovered our secret to take over the world... one blog at a time. So much for the surprise.

Jewlicious & the Defamation of the Dead

I wrote an article yesterday concerning the Jewish & Israeli Blog Awards (JIBs) being more about popularity than quality Jewish blogging. As I stated prior, I love the awards, and I truly love Jewish blogging. Nothing is greater than to see Jews all across the globe bringing our people's issues to the forefront for the world to see. With this being said, allow me to remind you that with such exposure also comes responsibility. You in essence become a figurehead and a spokesman for the Jewish people. Why? Because in many parts of the world there are no Jews. Therefore your blog may be the first and only brush with a Jew that a person may ever have. What do you want that first and final impression to be? Now before I go into details as to what I am talking about, allow me to first say that I am in no way advocating watering down your opinions, or trying to come across as politically correct. Anyone who has read any of my posts knows good and well that I can be as fiery and loud as the next person. But what I am talking about is the overall content. What is that content, and how does that content make the overall Jewish community appear. Let's face it. The Jewish community has never won a popularity contest amongst the nations, and my guess is that we won't prior to the redemption. That's just the way it is. Despite this, we do have an opportunity to show our non-Jewish friends and enemies alike that although we may not be the most popular, we are the most dignified. That was a long introduction to what I have to say, but I think it was something that needed to be stated prior to my comments. One of the most popular Jewish blogs on the Internet is Jewlicious. It's a beautifully designed and textually creative site that gets an enormous amount of daily readers. I love to see Jewish success, so I am happy for them. Yet with that being said, a recent post on their site made me cringe. Actually it wasn't the post itself, but a picture included within the post. One of the topics in the post was the fact that they had changed their cover model. For those of you who are unaware, Jewlicicous usually has a cover model on the page background of a woman wearing a shirt that says, "I Love Hashem". Pretty fantastic, right? Apparently there was some hoop-lah over them changing their cover model to a non-Jewish girl. Pretty boring topic in my opinion, but that's just me. As I previously stated, the problem I had with the post was not the words that were written, but the picture that was included with them. Seemingly to appease their fan base, they decided to include a picture of the old cover model in the post. And what was she wearing? No, not the "I Love Hashem" t-shirt that she previously adorned every time you went to their site, but instead she wore a shirt that exclaimed, "Christ Killer". Nice. So millions of Jews have been murdered for the last 2000 years because of that blatant lie, and they are bragging about it? Has the Leftist Jewish community lost all respect for our own dead? Do you think this girl’s ancestors would be laughing at her shirt? We undoubtedly all have at least one ancestor who was killed in the name of their deity, and the people at Jewlicious are no exception. In the Ashkenazi community in particular, our ancestors were forced to wear a yellow magen David patch or other similar mark to distinguish them as the "Christ Killers" throughout history. Has the Jewish community become so "enlightenend" that now their sacrifice for us is nothing short of a joke? I know that Jewlicious didn't design the shirt, but they certainly are happy to promote it. Therefore it is only right that those of us, who find such things repulsive, to take a stand and tell Jews and non-Jews alike that such behavior is disrespectful to the Christians who support us, and to our ancestors who were murdered because of the phrase "Christ Killer". I have no doubt that the purpose of the shirt design was to mock the ignorant fools who have oppressed us throughout history, but is mockery worth lowering ourselves to that same level of ignorance? Is the defamation of the dead worth the price of visual revenge? I think not. We were given a special mission by the Creator to be the bearers of Torah, and to pass it down throughout the ages. Disrespecting those who died in faithful pursuit of that goal serves only to impede that same ongoing mission for the current generation. It's fruitless and counter-productive. The reason that I bring this up now is because of the exposure that Jewlicious is getting because of the JIBs. A single picture within a single post may be the only Jewish impression that a non-Jew may ever have of us. Is this really the lasting impression we want non-Jews to have of us? Do we really want them to think that we take the martyrdom of our ancestors as comical? Think about it.

Circling Vultures and Ariel Sharon

A few days ago, I wrote a piece concerning the media's new love affair with Ariel Sharon. In that post I jestingly wrote that Reuters in particular has learned the secret of intercepting Heaven-bound prayers. Today I would like to show the darkside of Reuters. Apparently I didn't pay enough attention to the content of their gallery entitled "Prayers for Israeli PM Ariel Sharon". I decided to take a second look at the photos that were included in the gallery, and I found one photo in particular very disturbing. Apparently not only is Reuters trying to elevate Sharon from evil overlord to an earthly saint, but they are already burying him as well. (see below) Please tell me why an unrelated photo of a grave has anything to do with the recovery of the prime minister? I understand the reasoning behind including pictures of individuals davening at the kotel, because although it's a stretch to make the assumption that they are praying for Sharon at that moment, it's at least fathomable that they may be doing such. When they included a picture of a gravesite, it is almost as though they are trying to paint his death prior to his passing to further their deification propaganda. I swear when I look at that picture I can hear people weeping and violins playing in the background for an added affect. The media are nothing less than vultures, as they are no doubt already salivating at the thought of the "death" headlines. Afterall, who needs a good miracle recovery when getting to print that pre-written obituary "special edition" will sell so many more papers. Anyway, may Sharon recover speedily to the disappointment of the vultures, and may the only headline we see be one in which Sharon is shown tending to the sheep at his ranch... retired from politics.

The Temple Mount

Reuters Photo: (caption) Orthodox Jews pray in Western Wall, Judaism's holiest site in Jerusalem's Old City, January 7, 2006. The latest scan of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's brain showed slight improvement in his condition on Saturday but his life remained in danger three days after he suffered a massive stroke, doctors said. Tovya says: Okay a few problems with this caption. (A) They are not praying "in" the Western Wall, they are praying "at" it. Big difference. Now, yes, we would rather be davening "within" the walls, but that's neither here nor there. (B) It's not Judaism's holiest site, the truth lies in the previous comment. It's "within" the walls, the Temple Mount itself, that lies our holiest site, not on the outside of it. The media consistently attempts to imply that we revere the wall itself as though it were the sacred embodiment of Judaism. Nothing could be further from the truth. We revere the Temple Mount because of the Beis Hamikdash that once stood there (and will again, I might add). The wall is simply what remains of the original retaining wall structure. Therefore amongst other reasons, by davening at the Kotel, we in turn are showing Hashem that we truly desire the building of the 3rd Temple so that we may offer our prayers/sacrifices properly once again. Yes, I know, I sound like I am nitpicking the media, but it really is a serious issue. We need to get this idea out of the goyim's head that we are complacent with davening outside of the Temple Mount. The Temple Mount is ours, period. Either figure that out now, or learn the hard way later, people.

Exclusive: Media Intercepts Heaven-Bound Prayers

I want to add something to what Ze'ev Orenstein wrote concerning the secular media calling for Israelis to pray for PM Ariel Sharon. While I was at work, I was checking out Reuters, and I am truly amused at what I saw. (Disclaimer: I am an easily amused person). Below is a screenshot of what I saw: Now far be it from me to say that these people are not praying for Sharon, but who is Reuters to say that these Jews are davening for him at that moment? They took a bunch of snapshots at the Kotel, and then have the chutzpah to interpret a private dialogue between Hashem and the Jews who are praying? How do they know that these people are at the Kotel to pray for Arik? Did they interview G-d afterwards to get the details of the prayer session? Did they interview those who were praying to get the private details? Call me cynical, but my guess is that they did not. G-d bless Ariel Sharon, and may Hashem remember all of the good he did for us prior to the expulsion, but the secular media has got to get a life. They have went from trashing Torah and the Religious-Right to interpreting our one-on-ones with Hashem. Is this not the epitome of arrogance? Do they have a secret "bat phone" between shamayim and the Reuters headquarters? Or could this simply be another attempt at the media trying to deify another Israeli leader who was willing to betray his own people? I've said it once and I will say it again; I wish nothing but good things for PM Sharon. I hope he recovers fully and retires happy and healthy to his sheep ranch. But with this being said, I won't sit back and pretend as though the expulsion never happened. He is sick, and I am compassionate to anyone who is. It's a proud Jewish virtue to feel such compassion. None-the-less, the media needs to stop acting as though he is the greatest thing that ever happened to us. He was an outstanding general, and a former friend to the so-called "settler movement", but he chose his freedom from prosecution over Jewish lives. When he does finally pass from this earth (and may it be many years from now), he will be remembered as yet another Israeli leader who put Jewish lives in danger for their own personal gain. When I pray for Sharon, this what I think about. I pray that Hashem remembers Ariel Sharon as the Zionist that he was and not as the traitor that he became. I wish him nothing but blessings in the world to come. I hope he lives to have the opportunity to make teshuvah for the expulsion prior to his demise. Why? Because every night when I recite the bedtime Shema, I say: "...L'chol bar Yisrael, v'lo yei'aneish shum adam b'sibasi". This is what seperates the G-d fearing Jew from the secular world. We forgive those who are agree with us and those who do not, equally, with no strings attached. Reuters obviously can't interpret that.

Clinton: Rabin Will Rise From the Dead

After a meeting with French President Jacques Chirac, former U.S. President Bill Clinton stated:
"In the end, that's the only answer in the Middle East, you know, reconciliation of the Palestinians and the Israelis based on sharing a small piece of land and an enormous potential future. And, his illness, just as ten years ago Isaac Rabin's death, puts yet another obstacle in the path of the peacemakers and it's almost as if G-d was testing them one more time to rise again and to keep on," he said.
Tovya says:
im·be·cile (noun) 1. A stupid or silly person; a dolt. 2. A person whose mental acumen is well below par. 3. Former U.S. President William Jefferson Clinton
What is wrong with this guy? Did he eat mental-retardation-inducing corn flakes for breakfast? (A) How the hell do you get assasinated, as in Rabin's case, and then "rise again...to keep on?" Does he think that Rabin is going to resurrect from the dead or something? (B) Lastly, did Clinton ever think that G-d might have been saying something else like, "Don't mess with the covenant"? Sometimes I can't help but wonder if his interns serve the secondary purpose of writing his speeches as well as their well known primary function. All I can say is G-d bless the U.S. Congress for passing the two-term presidential laws.

Sharon, The Hawk Who Morphed Into a Dove

My Pre-Shabbos Rant:

Isn't it amazing how compassionate Western media has been portraying Ariel Sharon this week? One year ago, that same media was calling him a war criminal, a murder, and a war monger. And today how do they see him? They now refer to him as Israel's "grandfather", a man of peace, and a war hero. What a difference a year can make. Kill terrorists your whole life and you're called a criminal, but expel thousands of Jews from their homes but once and you become an overnight global sensation.

A pretty revealing lesson, no?

Sharon's Pal(estinian)

(Above) A sweet little "Palestinian" child shows his gratitude for Ariel Sharon kicking Jews out of their homes to give to them. Sharon lies in Hadassah in critical condition, and this child is already dancing on his grave. Arabs do not know compassion, nor do they recognize sorrow. Death is the definition of Islam, and hate follows everywhere Mohammed travels.

Sharon's Fate is in the Hands of Hashem

As is well known at this point, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has suffered another stroke and is under emergency treatment at Hadassah Hospital. I do not know what will become of his political career, nor will I speculate as to the outcome of his long term health. It certaily appears to be dire. What I will say is that a lot is riding on the outcome for a lot of different people for a lot of different reasons. If he has a full recovery, he may very well continue his pursuit of continuing his role as prime minister, and further Jews will face expulsion from Jewish lands. U.S. President George W. Bush certainly has a lot riding on Sharon's continued role as Prime Minister, and would certainly be in a tough position if he were no longer able to fulfill it. He needs Sharon to continue the push of Jewish national suicide. He needs Sharon healthy. Binyamin Netanyahu also has much riding on the outcome of Sharon's latest stroke. He knows good and well that if Sharon were no longer able to serve as prime minister (or take part in the March elections) that it would be a significant boost for the Likud. G-d only knows what is going through his mind right now. Shimon Peres is undoubtedly worried that he may have boarded a sinking ship. He already had another big loss handed to him in the Labor primaries, and now he may very well have joined a party that was doomed the day it was born. The list of people goes on, but the story is all the same. In politics there are no such things as friendships... there are only alliances of convenience, and well-wishing foes who want to appear compassionate to the on-lookers. As for me, I shall take my cue from David HaMelech. He refused to curse Shaul even while being pursued by him as though he were an enemy. At the end of the day Shaul's fate was in the hands of G-d, and Sharon's fate is no different. Though it is tempting to contemplate the "what ifs" and "whys", I shall refrain from doing so and instead pray for Sharon's speedy recovery. Ariel Sharon is also a Jew like myself and therefore him and I are tied to the same eternal covenant. May Hashem bring Sharon a speedy recovery, and may He also provide Sharon with the wisdom to lead us out of the current national disaster. In the end, may Hashem's desire be fulfilled, for that is all that any man can hope for.

The Ongoing Saga of MEME, Part 4

For the 4th time in a month I have been tagged with another one of those blasted MEME bugs. Now Fatah, Those are Some Friendly Terrorists

Israel openly supports Arab terrorism. The territory that is currently being occupied by the self-proclaimed “Palestinians” is a battleground where terrorist factions fight over the scraps of land that Israel ran from. The current Israeli administration promotes the idea of “divesting” from the so-called settlements. The very definition of divesting from a possession is to completely remove one’s self from it… to cut it off as though it were a limb being dispossessed of. Although it is well known how I feel about this tactic, that is not the item up for discussion today. Assuming that we continue down this route of national suicide and return ourselves to the pre-1967 borders, how is it that we are able to divest without divesting? Israel is at the forefront in counter-terrorism, and has been fighting Islamic fundamentalism when the West was still laughing as though it were a problem that would never visit their own front yards. With this being said, I would like to go back to my first comment… “Israel openly supports Arab terrorism”. Instead of following the old definition that a terrorist is a terrorist, Israel has adopted the Western idea of the “good terrorist”; not all terrorists are bad, some of them serve a purpose. Fatah and the al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade are directly and openly tied to the Palestinian Authority. The commanders of both groups are run by and take orders from the “Palestinian government” led by Mahmoud Abbas. I won’t even waste space in this post reminding readers of the murderous acts they have taken against Jews. Israel openly supports the Palestinian Authority, and by doing so, also supports the two above mentioned terrorist organizations. The “Palestinian Authority" needs their terrorist cells. Not simply to kill Jews I mind you, but also to kill their fellow Arabs. They are at war with Hamas for control of the land and people, and their own terrorist wings routinely fight against Hamas for control. Israel supports the “Palestinian Authority” terrorists because they have decided that they are better off with them rather than Hamas. It’s the great defeatist attitude: if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Israel (and America) openly recognize Hamas as a terrorist organizations. Israel consistently brings the war to Hamas and attacks her when the opportunity arises. Why? Well according to theory, the only response to terrorist acts is to strike back with a vengeance. We are supposedly teaching them a lesson. But really though, the lesson we should be considering is what are we teaching our children? Are we to teach the next generation of Jewish youth that it is acceptable to negotiate with some terrorists and not others? “It’s okay sweetie, the Palestinian Authority are good terrorists, but Hamas, now those are some bad people.” And if this shall be our reaction, what should be the litmus test that goes along with our lesson to them? How do we define which Arab is a good murderer of Jews and who is the bad one? Or better yet, when do we actually awake and realize that this is insanity, and that the new Jewish “enlightment” is actually a dark tunnel that leads to the grave? I am just amazed that we prayed to return for two-thousand years only to give up on the Jewish idea in less than 60 years. I spend a lot of time blasting the West for pressuring Israel to bow to terrorism, but I know that my energy is better spent verbally assaulting our own leadership. It's our stupidity at the end of the day, and more of our own dead, and we can't blame the West for that. We have to look inside our own camp and purge the enemy within... ignorance.

Looking for Love on Google

I had an interesting idea. I decided to search for an exact phrase in Google. Not just any phrase, but in particular the phrase "I Love Israel". For those of you whom are not certain on how search engine dynamics work, in order to look up a pinpoint specific phrase, you put the search string in quotations. For Example, "I love gefilte" (Google found 196 websites with that exact phrase). Now that I have explained what I did, let me share the results of my "I Love..." search in Google: European Google DATA "i love israel" - 34,800 websites found -versus- "i love russia" - 17,800 websites found "i love germany" - 23,000 websites found "i love france" - 30,400 websites found "i love england" - 21,000 websites found "i love spain" - 22,000 websites found "i love sweden" - 19,100 websites found "i love italy" - 32,000 websites found CONCLUSSION Israel is loved more than any other individual country in Europe. Maybe it's not scientifically provable, but Google must know something that other people do not. Hey I trust Google for all my searches! Mideast Google DATA "i love israel" - 34,800 websites found -versus- "i love egypt" - 939 websites found "i love saudi arabia" - 609 websites found "i love iraq" - 852 websites found "i love lebanon" - 1,730 websites found "i love kuwait" - 1,080 websites found "i love bahrain" - 786 websites found "i love syria" - 569 websites found "i love jordan" - 602 websites found "i love yemen" - 343 websites found "i love qatar" - 448 websites found CONCLUSSION Even if you add up all the other love for the Arab Mideast nations, it's still 5 times less loved than Eretz Yisrael. What's even more revealing than that is that when you search the phrase "i love algebra" it comes up with 922 websites found. Shouldn't that embarrass the Arabs that half of their nations have less "i love" results for them than bloody algebra did?!? Even the nasty term "i love being sick" got 491 websites found (which is more than "i love qatar" or "i love yemen"). This proves that more people would rather have the flu than travel to the Arab world. Pop Culture Google DATA "i love israel" - 34,800 websites found -versus- "i love britney spears" - 905 websites found "i love jessica simpson" - 3200 websites found "i love the beatles" - 33,300 websites found "i love tyra banks" - 943 websites found "i love kate moss" - 1,130 websites found CONCLUSSION Although The Beatles came close, not even they could knock Israel off of the top of the love chain. Maybe we could get kids to trade in their boy/girl band posters for maps of Israel? Probablly not, but it's a nice thought. Other Google DATA "i love israel" - 34,800 websites found "i love jerusalem" - 1,520 websites found "i love tel-aviv" - 474 websites found -versus- "i love islam" - 19,100 websites found "i love mecca" - 147 websites found "i love cairo" - 218 websites found CONCLUSSION I am not surprised by this one, afterall, would you rather vacation in Tel-Aviv or Mecca? Please, hands down, it's Israel all the way. =================== and finally the knockout punch.... "i love israel" - 34,800 websites found -versus- "i hate israel" - 986 websites found (to be continued...)
